It is a division of Cambridge Assessment, a not-for-profit organization and part of the world-renowned University of Cambridge. Cambridge Assessment was formed as the \u2018Local Examinations Syndicate\u2019 by the University of Cambridge in 1858. CAIE examinations are taken in over 160 different countries. In the words of Andreas Schleicher, OECD Education Directorate:<br><br>\n<strong>\u201cA generation ago, teachers could expect that what they taught would last their students a lifetime. Today, because of rapid economic and social change, schools have to prepare students for jobs that have not yet been created, technologies that have not yet been invented and problems that we teaching of 21st century skills identifies the changes in educational focus needed to prepare learners for the modern world, under four
