About Cambridge International

Cambridge Assessment International Education is the world’s largest provider of international education programmes and qualifications for 5 to 19 year olds. It is a division of Cambridge Assessment, a not-for-profit organization and part of the world-renowned University of Cambridge. Cambridge Assessment was formed as the ‘Local Examinations Syndicate’ by the University of Cambridge in 1858. CAIE examinations are taken in over 160 different countries. Cambridge qualifications are recognized by universities, colleges and employers across the globe.

An Overview- Why Cambridge?

The challenges schools face in preparing students for the future are significant. In the words of Andreas Schleicher, OECD Education Directorate:
“A generation ago, teachers could expect that what they taught would last their students a lifetime.
